Why Amazon Brand Registry?

Why Amazon Brand Registry?

Amazon Brand Registry is a free program that helps you protect and grow your brand — and in 2026, it affects far more than just protection. It determines how much control you have over your listings, whether you can use A+ Content and Sponsored Brands, and how well-protected you are against hijackers and counterfeiters.
Approval isn’t automatic, though. A small mismatch between your trademark, product images, brand name, or verification contact can delay or reject your application. We handle the entire process to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Secure Your Brand

Detect and report suspected IP infringement using Amazon’s enforcement tools. Accurate, well-documented submissions help block violations automatically — before they affect your brand or customers.

Convert More Customers

Use brand-exclusive tools to add enhanced content to your product pages and build customer trust, plus access to brand-marketing tools and promotional options.
Measure Your Success
Track how customers search for and buy your products, plus monitor protection metrics — both Amazon’s enforcement efforts and your own — in real time.

What You Need to Qualify

To enroll in Brand Registry, you need two things:

Brand name and logo—

A logo with your brand name permanently affixed to your product or packaging (printed, engraved, or stitched — not a removable sticker).

Trade mark —

A pending or registered trademark for your brand name or logo, issued by a recognized government IP office (like USPTO, UKIPO, or EUIPO) in a country with a corresponding Amazon store.

A registered trademark is the safer, faster route. A pending trademark can sometimes work too — especially if filed through Amazon’s IP Accelerator program — but approval in that case depends on the marketplace and trademark office, and isn’t guaranteed.

What We Handle For You

Pre-application audit —

We check your trademark, product images, brand name spelling, and account details for mismatches before submitting, since this is the #1 reason applications get delayed or rejected.

Application submission —

We complete and submit your Brand Registry application with all required details matched exactly to your trademark record.

Verification support —

Amazon sends a verification code to the trademark owner’s contact on file. We help coordinate this, especially if an attorney or previous agency controls that email.

Rejection troubleshooting —

If Amazon flags an issue, we identify the cause and resubmit with corrections.

Post-approval setup —

Once approved, we configure your brand permissions and get you access to A+ Content, Sponsored Brands, Brand Store, and Brand Analytics.

Ongoing brand protection —

After enrollment, we help you use Brand Registry tools to report counterfeit listings and unauthorized sellers.

FAQ'S

A registered trademark gives you the highest chance of smooth approval. A pending trademark can sometimes work, particularly through Amazon's IP Accelerator program, but acceptance depends on the marketplace and trademark office — it's not guaranteed the way a registered mark is.

The most common reasons are a brand name that doesn't exactly match the trademark, an inactive or expired trademark, product images that don't clearly show the brand permanently on the item, or an outdated verification contact email. We check all of these before submitting.

After you apply, Amazon sends a code to the trademark owner's contact email on file with the IP office. If that email belongs to a previous agency or attorney you no longer work with, you won't receive it — and the application can't move forward without it. We help you sort this out before it becomes a problem.

No. Amazon requires the brand name to be permanently affixed — printed, engraved, or stitched onto the product or packaging. Removable stickers or temporary labels are typically not accepted.

If you already have a registered trademark, Brand Registry approval usually takes 2-10 business days. If you're starting from scratch, trademark registration itself takes 6-12 months, though you may be able to begin the Brand Registry process earlier with a pending application in some cases.

Once you have Brand Registry, you can report them for IP violation and Amazon will remove them.
